Meet the Doctors
Bertha Hillian, DDS
Dr. Hillian is originally from Peru where she graduated in General Dentistry from National University of Trujillo, practicing for six years in her hometown. After moving to the United States in 2015, she served in the US Army as a supply specialist and then as a dental assistant. She attended Western Michigan University where she majored in Biomedical Sciences and continued later her educational career at Boston University receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery with high honors.
Dr. Hillian has a strong commitment to providing compassionate and exceptional care to all her patients. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. With her diverse experience and dedication to education, she provides an inclusive environment for her patients.
Aside from her love for dentistry, Dr. Hillian enjoys spending time with her husband and their twins, traveling, and cooking.
Dr. Branden Welch, DDS
Dr. Branden Welch is originally from Orange County California. As a youth, he spent much of his time ocean fishing, learning new languages, and volunteering with vulnerable populations across the Southwestern United States. Dr. Welch received his Bachelors Degree in Biology and Pre-Medical Sciences from Bowling Green University in Ohio, and went on to receive his Master's Degree in Advanced Organic Chemistry from Bowling Green as well.
Upon graduation, Dr. Welch married his wife Natalie, and they embarked on two years of overseas service with the United States Peace Corps, serving in the E. African nation of Tanzania. After completing his overseas assignment, Dr. Welch attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He has been the recipient of multiple awards for patient care, as well as his academic and leadership achievements.
In his free time, Dr. Welch enjoys collecting vinyl records, kayaking, backpacking, foraging for wild food, attending live music events, eating ethnic cuisine, and travelling the world with his wife Natalie.
